So it's finally finished! Yay! :party:
When through 1.5 black pencils but thats ok! Ends justify the means right? Clap 
Anyway, even though this is finished, an artist's work is never done so please if you have an constructive criticism that would help me improve in the future, please let me know! Hug

When gathering thoughts for a new piece to work on, I knew I wanted to work with colored pencils and I thought it would be pretty cool to do a "sequel" to my first, and pretty popular "Butterfly on a Summer Day". I took a well..not exactly original spin to this piece by still having that same 'abstract' feel but still making it recognizable to the first Butterfly piece. When thinking of what would qualify this as a winter scene, my mind first went to someplace northern, like Canada or Alaska and the northern lights! Probably the hardest part was how to represent the northern lights, which are beautiful and flowing, on a piece of paper! Another difficultly was finding ways to represent the colors of the lights since I only have a wide, wonderful range of 12 pencils, and only 2 of which are greenish. But I found a way still, but regrettably my take does not even come close to the beautiful splendor of the true northern lights! Regardless, I hope you enjoy "Luna Moth on a Winter Night".
